Morceaux choisis - Episoden aus dem Leben des Julius Schönfeld

Germany, 1780: The carefree life at a glamorous princely court is abruptly upended when the court cook dies, and the prince is compelled to promise her on her deathbed that he will take responsibility for her two children. Drawing on diary fragments, the narrative sketches the ensuing events and the life story of the poet Julius Schönfeld through a series of episodes.
