Recently, there was an unveiling of cellphone video footage that captured the moment a plainclothes officer pointed a stun gun at an uninvolved citizen while exclaiming, "What are you flexing for?" A NYPD Spokesperson has stated that the man "took a fighting stance against the officer" and was taken into custody. Three people in total were arrested that day in New York City's East Village.

Murder Hornets for May

Giant murder hornets have arrived in the US as the next installment of disaster year 2020. In Japan, these particular hornets are blamed for the deaths of about 50 people a year. "They're like something out of a monster cartoon with this huge yellow-orange face," said Susan Cobey, a bee breeder at the Washington State University's department of entomology.

Justice For Ahmaud Arbery

Ahmaud Arbery, at age 25, was shot and killed Feb. 23, 2020. Attorneys for the Arbery family believe that Ahmaud was the victim of racial profiling after he was chased down while innocently jogging around his neighborhood and shot by two white men as a third white man recorded on video. Video of the incident went viral throughout multiple social media platforms; and just recently, the perpetrators have been arrested and prosecuted.

The president became "lave-level mad" after learning one of his personal White House attendants tested positive for the coronavirus. "We were recently notified by the White House Medical Unit that a member of the United States Military, who works on the White House campus, has tested positive for Coronavirus," deputy White House press secretary Hogan Gidley stated. "The President and the Vice President have since tested negative for the virus and they remain in great health."

3000 Daily Deaths

Internal Trump administration and CDC projections estimate that about 3,000 Americans will die from the coronavirus every day by June 1. The increased estimates come as states are starting to ease restrictions. Such states are believed to have moved towards loosening restrictions in an attempt to revive the economy and calm restless residents.

Donald Trump, in a press conference, asserted that the coronavirus pandemic may "go away without a vaccine." Without mentioning specifics, Trump pointed to other viruses and flus that "disappeared" before vaccines were created. "They've never shown up again. They die, too. Like everything else, they die," Trump said. "It's going to go away. And we're not going to see it again, hopefully, after a period of time."
