Veterans Day is the annual holiday in which Americans nationwide spend the day honoring the men and women who served in the U.S. military. Veterans Day, the holiday that celebrates the service of all military veterans, is sometimes confused with Memorial Day, the holiday that honors those who have unfortunately perished while serving in the military. Of course, despite the common misconception between the two holidays, one is sure to argue that both holidays are equally important with regards to their respective significances to those who celebrate them. Trump made some time in his busy schedule to make his first official public appearance since Election Day by attending a traditional wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.
