ESPN - Matthew Stafford entered tonight's wild-card game having never won in the playoffs and losing in all three of his appearances over 12 seasons with the Detroit Lions. But tonight was clearly a completely different story for Stafford as he was able to lead the Los Angeles Rams to a relatively stress-free 34-11 win over the Arizona Cardinals at SoFi Stadium. Not only did tonight's victory fill the playoff hole in Stafford's résumé, but it also solidly punched the Rams' ticket to the divisional round, where they'll be facing off against Tom Brady and the defending champion Buccaneers next Sunday in Tampa, Florida. "I'm just excited for our team to get the win," Stafford said. "What a team effort -- I mean our defense played outstanding tonight, special teams basically set up a score with Johnny [Hekker] pinning them down there, did a great job on field goals. And, you know, we're good enough on offense to score some points and come away with the win. Just happy to be moving on."
