The PS5 controller, officially called the DualSense, has just been revealed. The DualSense will have a brand new built-in refined haptic feedback system to capture a broader range of motions, such as "slow grittiness of driving a car through mud". The controller will also include more adaptive trigger buttons to dynamically change their tensions for different activities, such as "drawing back a bowstring". And of course, as everyone has requested, while the controller will now have a built-in microphone for online play, the controller will also include a headset jack for those who enjoy full audio immersion. In short, as Sony Interactive Entertainment president Jim Ryan says, "The new controller, along with the many innovative features in PS5, will be transformative for games – continuing our mission at PlayStation to push the boundaries of play, now and in the future."
