FOXSports - In the first half of the highly anticipated match between Portugal and Uruguay, both teams struggled to score. Everybody knew that Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo was just itching to get the ball in the net; and in the 54th minute in the second half, Ronaldo's dream was finally realized as he proceeded to drive in the first goal of the match. And while Uruguay tried relentlessly to equalize the score, it was to no avail as Bruno Fernandes would later go onto add insult to injury by netting another goal, via penalty kick, in stoppage time. When the dust settled, Portugal had decisively won 2-0, marking the first time since 2006 that they have won consecutive matches in the World Cup.

Later in the match, the credit was given to Bruno Fernandes. Uruguay tried relentlessly to equalize the score but failed. Bruno Fernandes would add another goal, via penalty kick, in stoppage time. Portugal won 2-0, marking the first time since 2006 that they have won consecutive matches in the World Cup.

Brazil and Switzerland matched up in the group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Brazil peppered Switzerland’s defense with multiple shots on goal but nothing went through. Halftime stood at 0-0. In the 64th minute, Vinícius Júnior appeared to score for Brazil but the goal was overturned by Richarlison’s offside position. The 0-0 tie was broken in the 83rd minute after Casemiro put one in to the top corner.

South Korea took on Ghana in the group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The first half was all Ghana, as Mohammed Salisu scored a goal in 24’ and Mohammed Kudus scored in 34’. Ghana almost went up by three, but were unable to put in a header. South Korea would come back with two header goals by Cho Gue-Sung in 58’ and 61’. Ghana responded quickly with another goal by Mohammed Kudus in the 68th minute. They would go on to win 3-2, marking their first World Cup win since 2010.
