CNN - Ed Asner has passed away today at the age of 91, his publicist confirmed to CNN. Upon his death, Asner was reportedly surrounded by family in Los Angeles, publicist Charles Sherman said. "We are sorry to say that our beloved patriarch passed away this morning peacefully," the post on Asner's official Twitter account read. "Words cannot express the sadness we feel. With a kiss on your head- Goodnight dad. We love you." Ed Asner will surely be missed by many.
