Dustin Diamond, a.k.a. Screech from "Saved by the Bell," has passed away today at the age of 44 after a recent cancer diagnosis, according to Diamond's manager, Roger Paul. "He was diagnosed with this brutal, relentless form of malignant cancer only three weeks ago," Paul said in a statement he provided to CNN. "In that time, it managed to spread rapidly throughout his system; the only mercy it exhibited was its sharp and swift execution. Dustin did not suffer. He did not have to lie submerged in pain. For that, we are grateful." Dustin Diamond will surely be missed by many.
