CNN - Charles Grodin, the versatile comedic actor best known for his roles in movies like "Midnight Run" and "The Heartbreak Kid," has passed away at age 86 this Tuesday at his home in Connecticut, after battling cancer, according to his son Nicholas. "Chuck was as good a person as he was an actor," Robert De Niro said in a statement issued through his publicist. "'Midnight Run' was a great project to work on, and Chuck made it an even better one. He will be missed. I am very very sad to hear of his passing." Charles Grodin will surely be missed by many.
