CNN - Anne Rice, author of the best-selling Vampire Chronicles novel series, has passed away this weekend at the age of 80, her son Christopher Rice announced on social media. Reportedly, Rice passed away due to complications resulting from a stroke. Anne Rice will be buried in a private ceremony in New Orleans, with a public memorial planned next year. Anne Rice will surely be missed by many.
