Extended Unemployment Benefits May Be Ending Soon
In Ohio at least, federal funding will be ending for extended unemployment benefits, according to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. To be more precise, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act will be expiring while the Federal-State Extended Benefits program will be ending after Dec. 26. All traditional unemployment benefits will remain in effect even after Dec. 26.

Sheriffs Refusing To Just Stay Home
Sheriffs Alex Villanueva, Don Barnes, and Chad Bianco each enforce the laws in Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties, respectively, VOX reported this week. In response to Newsom’s newest stay-at-home orders, Villanueva said he won’t “take part in enforcing stay at home orders at businesses;” Barnes called compliance “a matter of personal responsibility and not a matter of law enforcement;” and Bianco said he wouldn’t be “blackmailed, bullied or used as muscle” in carrying out the order.

Children Took A Range Rover Out For 100+ Mile Joyride
Two NYC children, ages 12 and 7, who were initially reported missing after allegedly taking off in one of their parents' Range Rovers, turned up near the New Jersey/Delaware border, the NYPD said this Monday afternoon. After being found, the children were held by police until they were reunited with family members at home later Monday afternoon, police said. Although there is no word of any charges, the investigation is still considered ongoing.

The Raid On Rebekah Jones's Home
Former Florida coronavirus data chief Rebekah Jones has since spoken out against the various state police claims that the officers at the time had in fact acted appropriately when they raided her home this past Monday as part of an investigation for hardware reportedly containing evidence of government wrongdoing. "You can see there's an officer clearly pointing a gun at my face through the window next to my door," Jones said in an interview with Florida Today. As seen on the released bodycam footage, the officer entered Jones' home with his gun drawn even while Jones was seen complying with orders. "Do not point that gun at my children!" Jones yelled.

During the latest segment of Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight with Donald Trump Jr., Carlson had said that Republican voters are currently “very dispirited, very distrustful,” and convinced that “it doesn’t matter who controls the Senate.” And to everyone's surprise, Don Jr. went from 0 to 100 real quick. “I think that’s literally what the Democrats want you to believe,” Don Jr. shouted. “They could love for you to take this stance, that it doesn’t matter, to roll over and die.” Don Jr. could be seen visibly shaking as he tried to list the scariest things he could think would happen if Democrats controlled both houses.

COVID-19 Levels Up To Top U.S. Killer
COVID-19 passed heart disease as the leading cause of death during the past week, according to the latest report from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation. Even as vaccines are now frantically making their way across the U.S., it is not yet time to relax. “By April 1, 2021, we project that 9,000 lives will be saved by the projected vaccine rollout,” according to the report. “If rapid rollout of vaccine is achieved, a further 11,000 lives will be saved.”

The Fatal Shooting Of Casey Christopher Goodson Jr.
A sheriff's deputy fatally shot 23-year-old Casey Goodson Jr. on his grandmother's doorstep following a "verbal exchange" with the lawman, authorities and family members said this past Sunday. Loved ones of Goodson Jr. have since said they have "extreme concern" about the killing in Columbus and are now demanding a thorough investigation. Since then, the Columbus police have released a statement with regards to the tragic incident."The deputy was investigating the situation and there are reports of a verbal exchange. The deputy fired at Mr. Casey Goodson, resulting in his death," according to a sheriff's statement. "A gun was recovered from Mr. Goodson. Mr. Goodson was not the person being sought by the U.S. Marshals task force."

COVID-19 Vaccine's Potential Side-Effects
In a statement Pfizer said, “We have been advised by MHRA of two yellow card reports that may be associated with allergic reaction due to administration of the covid-19 BNT162b2 vaccine. As a precautionary measure, the MHRA has issued temporary guidance to the NHS while it conducts an investigation in order to fully understand each case and its causes. Pfizer and BioNTech are supporting the MHRA in the investigation.”

Pfizer Formally Approved
The US Food and Drug Administration have just given the green light for the emergency authorization for Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine. Following the news, Pres. Trump put out an all-caps message "FDA APPROVES PFIZER VACCINE FOR EMERGENCY USE!!!" on Twitter and then followed up with a three-minute video where he called the vaccine a "medical miracle."
