Trump: Injection of Disinfection

At a coronavirus task force briefing, President Trump speculated on the effectiveness of potential treatments for the virus, one of the more notable ones being directly injecting disinfectant into the body. "And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute,” Trump said. “And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or ... or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets on the lungs and it does a tremendous number, so it will be interesting to check that. So that you're going to have to use medical doctors. But it sounds, it sounds interesting to me.”

The oil market have just crashed. Storage tanks, pipelines, and tankers are currently getting overwhelmed by a vast oversupply caused by an ever decreasing demand as countries remain locked down due to the coronavirus pandemic. There are even signs suggesting the low prices for oil will be here to stay.

Division Among the People

As states across the U.S. continue to decide how and when to reopen, divisions are slowly being drawn between political parties, governors, states, and even regions. On one side, "There is no such thing that liquor stores can be working but churches are closed!" And on the other, "We follow the science advice."

Texas Reopened

Many businesses in Texas are now able to open up and offer curb-side options much like restaurants have been offering amidst the coronavirus lockdown. The businesses that are reopening will still have to follow guidelines from state health officials. In addition, according to Texas Health and Human Services, "all store employees must be trained in environmental cleaning and disinfection, hand hygiene, and respiratory etiquette."

Drive-In Church

"The idea is that God is in control, even though the world is in chaos." A drive-in theater turned church in Newville, Pennsylvania has become a place of worship during the coronavirus pandemic. "First week we had 277 cars."

Kim Jong-Un Out of Commission

Earlier this week, the US was closely monitoring intelligence that suggests North Korea's leader, Kim Jong Un, was not doing so well after his cardiovascular system procedure. Now, there is currently speculation over whether or not North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is even alive or dead. While there have been various credible reports from China and Japan, the accuracy of these reports remains non-conclusive at this time.

Salon Owner's Rebellion

Shelly Luther, the Dallas hair salon owner, illegally reopened her business against her state's lock-down orders. Luther acknowledged that she has to take extra precautions to protect her staff and customers alike. These extra precautions included stylists using gloves and masks while working and they'd prefer if their clients wore masks as well.

Can Coronavirus Go Airborne Through Farts?

Two Australian doctors are weighing in about the spread of the coronavirus “down under”. “Luckily, we wear a mask, which covers our farts all the time,” Dr. Swan said. “I think that what we should do in terms of social distancing and being safe is that … you don’t fart close to other people, and that you don’t fart with your bottom bare.”

NFL Draft 2020 Went Virtual

Due to the various restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, for the first time ever, the NFL Draft was held in a completely virtual format for the 32 NFL teams.
