Historic SpaceX Launch

Get all the latest news, live updates & top stories on SpaceX launch
History is being made today as NASA and SpaceX prepares to launch America, almost quite literally, into space. As described by ABC News' program, the SpaceX Demo-2 launch is scheduled for liftoff at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The Crew Dragon spacecraft, propelled by a Falcon 9 rocket, will carry NASA astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley to the International Space Station. A successful launch today will mark the end of a nearly 10-year long U.S. dependency on Russia for seats to space and the potential beginning of more private space firms launching astronauts in the future.
