MLive - The Spartans (8-0, 5-0 Big Ten) rallied for a 37-33 win against Michigan (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten) this past weekend and moved up to No. 5 in the AP Top 25 and No. 6 in the Coaches Poll, which were released Sunday afternoon. This is the highest ranking for Michigan State since being No. 3 in the AP and No. 4 in the Coaches Poll on Dec. 6, 2015, prior to an appearance in the College Football Playoff. What a dramatic way for The Spartans to climb up the national rankings!
