The Dodgers have previously announced that NLCS Game 2 starter Clayton Kershaw would be removed from their lineup against the Braves due to back spasms; in Kershaw's place, Tony Gonsolin received the start instead. "Each day, Clayton got a little bit better," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts added. "Our goal was to have him start tonight, but it just never got to the point where we felt comfortable."
