Actor Danny Masterson, best known as the character Hyde on "That '70s Show," has just been charged with three counts of rape, as announced by Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey. Masterson's charges are based upon three women in separate incidents occurring between 2001 and 2003, a press release from the District Attorney's Office said. In a statement to CNN, Masterson's attorney Tom Mesereau said: "Mr. Masterson is innocent, and we're confident that he will be exonerated when all the evidence finally comes to light and witnesses have the opportunity to testify."
‘That '70s Show’ Star Danny Masterson Posts $3 Million Bail
Actor Danny Masterson of "That '70s Show" fame has been arrested and charged with the rapes of three women, according to Los Angeles prosecutors. Masterson, 44, was taken into custody Wednesday and later released on a $3.3 million bail bond. He is accused of sexually assaulting the women between 2001 and 2003 at his home. Masterson’s attorney, Tom Mesereau, who represented Michael Jackson and Bill Cosby at trial for sexual crimes, said his client is innocent. His arraignment is Sept. 18.
